EVR: VivaDrive's fleet electrification tool selected and co-funded by EIT Urban Mobility

In the EVR project, supported by EIT Urban Mobility — a body of the European Union — VivaDrive is building an AI and big-data tool that helps energy companies guide their customers through fleet electrification and charging infrastructure planning. The deployment runs with the MOYA network.

VivaDrive's fleet electrification methodology has been selected and co-funded by EIT Urban Mobility, an initiative of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union. The EVR project develops a comprehensive tool that helps energy companies guide their clients towards electrifying their fleets and planning efficient charging infrastructure.

AI and big data for zero-emission fleets

Utilising AI and big data, the EVR tool enables detailed scenario analyses for adopting zero-emission vehicles and developing the necessary infrastructure: which vehicles to replace with EVs, how to design the charging strategy, and what the transition means for total cost of ownership. The project's primary objective is to significantly reduce transportation-related greenhouse gas emissions, directly contributing to cleaner air and improved quality of life.

Deployment with MOYA as a blueprint for energy companies

By providing a strategic plan for fleet electrification and charging infrastructure development, the project diversifies the business models of energy companies like MOYA, while assisting their customers in reducing transportation carbon emissions. The deployment with MOYA serves as a blueprint, showcasing the tool's feasibility and benefits and setting the stage for broader commercialisation.
